Alumni Weekend 2017 was a lot of fun and a great success. Thanks again to everyone who came! Unfortunately this year it falls on the same date as BUCS, so to make up for it we will be hosting not one but 3 events that Alumni are encouraged to come to.

SSS League 4

For the first time, a SSS Trampoline competition is being held in St Andrews! We now have a Premier Inn, a real tumble track, and maybe even a DMT*, so it will be a great weekend.

In classic St Andrews fashion, there will be a ball – Bouncy Ball. You will also be able to support the club as we go for as many trophies as possible (things are looking pretty good at the moment), and laugh at the dissapointment in the eyes of all the younger tramps who have never been to St Andrews and want to go out to a real club.

Date: 2nd – 4th March 2018

Accomodation: Premier Inn / Hotels in St Andrews. Unfortunately we can’t promise that there will be any spare free beds in people’s houses due to the nature of hosting for the other clubs.

note. Bouncy Ball tickets are being prioritised for competing students. I am trying to ask if there are any spare. Let me know on facebook or by emailing trampoline@saints-sport.com if you are interested in attending the Bouncy Ball.

BUCS

A new time and location for BUCS this year! Cambridge (further away from us), Mid-April (the exact same weekend as the official Alumni Weekend). The one advantage to this is that we will be closer to London and Stanstead Airport, so it should be easier for anyone who lives in that area to come say hi.

BUCS will be happening at the University of Cambridge Sports Centre.

Date: 14 – 15 April 2018

Accomodation: We currently have no idea how we are getting to Cambridge or where we are staying, but this will be updated in the future.

Annual Club Competition

Finally, if you can’t make the other two events, we hold our annual club competition at the end of the year in St Andrews. Exams start on the 14th of May, so it will be held at some point before that. Nothing has been planned for this yet, I will keep you posted.

University of St Andrews Trampoline & Gymnastics Club is getting a Double Mini Trampoline! Yes, it’s exciting. Yes, it’s also really expensive.

With some helpful grants from SSS and the AU, this year the club has the achievable goal of fundraising for a Double Mini Trampoline. Unfortunately this means we need YOUR help to raise the money for it.
